Outlook Employment is funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations as a specialist service to assist job seekers with a disability to obtain and maintain permanent employment.

Through this we can assist businesses in employing people with a disability with wage subsidies, workplace modifications, disability action plans and one on one support when hiring a person with a disability.

Donations For Us

The Supported Wage System (SWS) is used for an employee who cannot work at the same rate as their co-worker. This may mean that they are slower at completing tasks or their finished product is not of the same quality.

Outlook Employment applies to the relevant Commonwealth departments to have the employee assessed by a registered SWS Assessor to examine the employee's ability, productivity and quality.

The employee is measured against an able worker to determine 100% productivity level. At the end of the assessment, a productivity rate is calculated and if all parties agree, the employee is paid accordingly.
